Hardy Watts is the fourth President of the Foundation and the great-grandson of its founder. He has served on the Board since 2007. A longtime teacher before attending law school, his philanthropic focus is in education, especially for underserved populations.
A graduate of Princeton and Suffolk University Law School, Hardy lives outside of Boston and is raising three children. His eldest son, Hardy Jr., joined him on a recent Foundation trip to Haiti in support of a school-building grant there. When not practicing law or performing Foundation duties, Hardy loves history, crossword puzzles, and tabletop games.
